McLean & Schultz: Structural Engineering & Architecture

The Cabrillo Way Marina, in the Port of Los Angeles, covers 46 acres of land and 41 acres of water, and is a state of the art development based on green design and sustainability. McLean & Schultz performed design of the trellis and gangway pavilion structures. Using a variety of materials and a graceful geometry, the gangway pavilions and trellises enhance the marina walkways and provide a pleasant visual experience to the bystanders. Tension rods provide control for displacements as well as resemble a boat’s sail appearance.
