The Port of Los Angeles contracted McLean & Schultz consulting services to conduct a feasibility study, construction documents, specifications and cost estimates for a cool storage facility for bananas and other perishable products for an existing wharf building at Berth 153. Construction and energy cost analysis were also provided. The final design consisted of a steel frame structure with insulated metal clad walls and roof panels.
